Info on COVID-19

At Cross Sound Ferry, the safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking appropriate action based on recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization, as well as state and local authorities. In order to maintain a safe environment for all, we have implemented the following:

• First, if you are traveling with a vehicle, please feel free to stay in your vehicle during the trip. We have lowered the vehicle capacities on our vessels to ensure there is adequate space to allow everyone to freely exit and enter their vehicle while the vessel is underway. Vehicle engines must remain off while the vessel is underway.
• Increased the frequency of cleaning for all shoreside facilities. All vessel restrooms, food service areas, countertops, tables, door knobs, railings and other frequently touched surfaces are being sanitized between every trip.
• We encourage our passengers to spread out while sitting on board to maintain a safe distance from each other.
• Our crew is deep cleaning and sanitizing at night while vessels are not operating.
• Increased the quantity of antibacterial hand sanitizing stations on all vessels and shoreside facilities.
• Increased inventory of all antibacterial cleaning supplies and sanitizers
• In process of installing surface sanitizing wipe stations onboard our vessels
• To minimize exposure, we are limiting the handling of boarding tickets for passengers with reservations.
• Please follow personal hygiene recommendations from the CDC, and do not travel if you are sick.

We are temporarily waiving reservation cancellation fees.

We will continue to monitor and respond as necessary to the latest updates from various agencies regarding COVID-19.

We look forward to sailing with you. Thank you for being a Cross Sound Ferry customer.
